Colorado In Danger

Embedded image permalink
On Wednesday afternoon, Colorado experienced something it had never experienced before. In counties Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Bloomfield, Denver, Douglas, Elbert, Jefferson, Ladimer, Morgan, and Weld, were in tornado watches until 8:00 pm. Schools weren't released until further notice, which was around 5:00 pm. By 3:00 pm (5:00 pm ET). It was said that five tornadoes were seen on the ground not too far from the International Colorado Airport, and their were still more that were around Denver. Due to this, 38 flights where delayed 90 minutes, without counting the time that it takes to take off all the hail. Their aren't any reports of injuries or deaths, so far. Other than the fact that more than five tornadoes hit Colorado, it hailed about six inches. This hail was about the size of baseballs and caused some inconveniences to people on the road, and many other places. Because there was so much hail, Boulder Branch decided to make highways, like highway 470, a one lane road because of the hard Hail. All this hail also put all trains on hold and caused flooding all around Colorado and Denver, affecting northbound lanes of Quebec Street.
